CHRISTIANS AND MOSLEMS
|
In Genesis 16:5, and Genesis 21:2 it is written that Abraham the
grandfather of the Jews and Arabic had two sons. These two sons,
born from two spouses, were representative of two covenants that the
apostle
Paul teaches in Galatians 4:21-30 < <... Tell me, ye that
desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is
written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other
by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the
flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.Which things are an
allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount
Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is
mount Sinai in
Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage
with her children. But
Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break
forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many
more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as
Isaac was, are the children of promise. >
>
The Old Testament being the image(allegory), when reality came with
Jesus Christ, Saint Paul the apostle explains and says (Romans
9:6-8) < < Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.
For they are not all
Israel, which are of Israel: Neither, because they are the seed of
Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be
called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are
not the children of God: but
the
children of the promise are counted for the seed.
> >.
The Lord
Jesus Christ knowing that, exclaimed
against the religious Jews leaders and said < <
I know that ye
are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no
place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye
do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said
unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye
were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now
ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have
heard of God: this did not Abraham. > > John 8:37-40. (verse
40 chows clearly that: the fact of refusing the biblical truth
reveals the deep nature of our interlocutor, it means the devil is
guiding the concerned one. )
God rich in mercy had envisaged, without discrimination, a time of
Grace for all humanity as it is written in Romans 9:23-24
< < And that he might make known the
riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore
prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews
only, but also of the Gentiles? As he saith also in Hosea, I will
call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved,
which was not beloved. > >
Hosea 1:10 < < Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be
as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and
it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them,
Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the
sons of the living God. > >. In Ephesians 2:11-14, the apostle
reminds and describes what God, in Christ, carried out for all
humanity < < Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past
Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcised by that which
is called the Circumcised in the flesh made by hands; That at that
time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of
Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope,
and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who
sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he
is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the
middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh
the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;
for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace >>.
God of Abraham (father of Isaac and Ishmael) could not bless all the
nations according to the carnal descent, not. It is only in Jesus
Christ that the promise made to Abraham finds really its fulfillment
Galatians
3:29
< < And if you are to Christ, then you are the descent of Abraham,
heirs according to the promise > >.
Saint Peter the
apostle confirms that the people of all the nations tribes and races
form, in Christ, only one race of God, 1 Peter 2:9-10 < < But ye
are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a
peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who
hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in
time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which
had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. > >
Saint Paul gives the same testimony in Galatians 3:27-28.
Since the beginning of the time of the grace Luke 4:18-19 (Isaiah
61:1-2) Every body who believe in true God, creator of the heaven
and the earth, God of Abraham, should use the time of our journey on
earth with caution, we should seriously check out to see the
continuation of the work of the same God in our time. We should
refrain from becoming fanatic of anyone. According to the Bible, the
time of the grace must be used with recognition, without seeking to
walk, as in the past, in our own ways (Isaiah 53:5-6). The
membership of a carnal race should not blind our Arab brothers and
sisters to see the realization of the promise of God to Abraham
Geneses 17:6-7, Galatians 3:29.
Because, this time of the grace is about to finish for the nations.
In fact, it is written in Romans 11:26-27, the apostle Paul point
out that after He reveals to us, His people of the nations; the
Lord our God will then return to reveal His self to his people of
Israel, Zachariah 12:10 < < And I will pour upon the house of
David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace
and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have
pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only
son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in
bitterness for his firstborn.> > This is in direct connection
with the plan of God revealed to his servants the prophets, because,
according to Daniel 9:24, Israel (nation), was to be in the presence
of God for 70 prophetic-weeks. Thus, there remains to them one week
which must be achieved after the time of the nations, because the
Messiah was to be cut off after 69 prophetic-weeks, this means;
62+7: Daniel 9-25-26. It concords with the Ministry of two prophets
of Apocalypse 11:3, which corresponds exactly to a prophetic week
that remains to Israel.
Due to the fulfillment of the promises of God in our generation, we
owe to exhort our brothers and sisters, Arabic and others, that it
is not a business of < Jews >, but rather of God who has a plan that
He thoroughly carries out. He has opened a new era to grace
everybody, from all nations. Nobody can escape from God’s will just
choosing a religion according to the fashion or his racial
membership --- not.
It is
very serious to recognize that in Jesus-Christ, God as fulfilled his
promise to bless all the nations of the earth through Abraham.
The
things are not any more according to the flesh, but according to the
spirit. If you recognize God of Abraham (father of Isaac and Ishmael)
as the only true God; then repent to have passed your life up to now
without Christ in order to have share of the promises of the same
very God in this time of ours. Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39, Saint
Peter already said <<... Repent, and be baptized every one of you
in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For
the promise is unto you, and to your children, and
to all that are afar off,
even as many as the Lord our God shall call. >
